So I brought a griddle into the office and made some. Figured half the office wouldn't show up and I really wanted pancakes. Took over an empty desk and had at it. Kinda cheated with the "just add water" mix and this has nothing to do with cars but whatever...it's all in good fun.

just add water mix is the only kind of mix to get.

I used to bring in a foreman grill and cook hamburgers at my desk. The looks I would get...

Can't go wrong with a Presto griddle. Those things are great for pancakes.

Nice work!

I have a portable propane grill that I bring in the summer and grill in the parking garage.

When I make pancakes, I make these buttermilk buckwheat pancakes . They look purple but taste great. I'm not even some hippie friendly gotta use weird flours in my baking and other dough related products person. These are just good.

Brought a propane burner in last year and made pasta. Granted it was for a food competition we were having but nobody else actually made their dish at their desk haha

This is my favorite Christmas gift this year. I am so impressed at how well it's been cooking things.

We have done a few pot lucks (not really competition). Most people here just bring in store bought crap.

Yeah, we do pot lucks maybe every few months. Some people do home made stuff (we have a former baker somehow). The competition was a one time wrinkle.

I say one time because the competition got way too intense.

Someone just told me I'm killing them with smells today (just made popcorn) so I think bacon would have been the death of someone here.

Back in my Army days, I had an automatic breadmaker. I was stationed in Ft Drum in upstate NY, and in the winter we would do our start and finish stretches in the barracks hallway by my room. I would set the timer so that I would have fresh bread ready for me at the end of PT. Man I would get some evil looks from the other guys there having to put up with the smell of fresh bread. Good times...

Next on my list of things to buy for the kitchen: bread maker. That sounds glorious. Well played
